Pequot Lakes Schools is located on the northern edge of beautiful Crow Wing County just 20 minutes north of Brainerd, Minnesota.  The district enrolls over 1,850 students from the communities of Pequot Lakes, Breezy Point, Crosslake, Jenkins, Ideal Corners, and Nisswa. 

 

The secondary campus, nestled in the heart of Pequot Lakes, includes the district office, Pequot Lakes High School serving grades 9 - 12, and Pequot Lakes Middle School serving grades 5 - 8.  Eagle View Elementary School lies on a beautiful bluff overlooking Rice Lake in Breezy Point and serves students in early childhood through grade 4.  The district has approximately 140 licensed teachers with a student-to-teacher ratio of 17:1.  

 

Pequot Lakes Schools offers a rigorous academic program, rich opportunities in the arts, and a wide range of athletics and activities for students.  A strong partnership with Central Lakes College makes it possible for our high school students to complete an AA degree while attending Pequot Lakes High School, and the district is currently engaged in a five-year effort to personalize learning and integrate technology into teaching and learning.  Located in the Brainerd Lakes Area, Pequot Lakes Schools is large enough to offer students wonderful opportunities and small enough to be an authentic community.
